Very Important Classroom Info!

We will definitely be in our new classroom next week. Because our new classroom has laptops that connect to the wireless internet at the college, each of us will need to login to the City Tech wireless network at the beginning of every class.

You will need to use your login and password for your City Tech email account.

What this means is that by our next class on Tuesday, November 2nd, you MUST login to your City Tech email account to make sure you’re ready for class next week. Here’s the address for City Tech student email: http://mail.citytech.cuny.edu/.

If you have trouble logging in, please visit the IT Help Desk at the Info Desk on the first floor of Namm, right outside of the cafeteria.

Remember, if you cannot access your City Tech email then you will not be able to use the internet in class next week!

Our Library CLT was out today, so I’m not certain whether the new classroom is ready. Tomorrow morning I will put up signs at the entrance to the library to let you know which classroom we’ll be in. Please keep an eye out for them!

Hi everyone,

Our new classroom is not ready yet. However, we do need to use the computers for tomorrow’s class, so we’ll meet in the library’s Multimedia Lab. This is the room with computers directly across from the projection room where we’ve met the past couple of weeks.

Class tomorrow + computer access

Hi everyone,

We will still be in the library projection room, Rm A432, for class tomorrow. Please don’t forget to bring your copy of the readings — we will discuss them in class.

I’ve arranged for the Multimedia Lab in the library to be available for our class before tomorrow from 9:30-10am. If you need to submit your blog posts and have trouble getting to a computer before then, you can come to the lab before class and use the computers there to submit your posts. The Multimedia Lab is right across from the projection room. Please remember that your blogging homework is due by class time tomorrow.

Class on Thursday 9/23

For class tomorrow please bring your copy of the assigned reading: Martin, Ch. 7. We’ll be doing an activity during which you’ll need to refer to the text.

Please remember that tomorrow we will meet in the library’s projection room again, Rm. A432. To get to Rm 432: enter the library, turn left and walk to the far wall, head up the small flight of stairs and straight through the door, then left into Rm 432.
